Hey Ma,
I have a new love for that song, cause as we sing it on the stand waiting for Elder Gong I could feel the Spirit come over me and was just so amazing. The other great thing was all of the lessons we were able to teach as well.

Mission Conference
It's been two weeks since the last. P-day was moved around last week due to a Mission Conference. Last Monday to Thursday was meetings with Elder Tai of the seventy. It was A great spiritual experience and all the things we learned. Wednesday we were all together for the meeting and it was great to see others from past areas. And the spirit was so strong as missionaries sang the hymns.

Hello Y'all - May 3, 2021
Hello Y’all
This week was a fantastic week. It was very busy and lots of fun. We started with MLC then Zone Council to end it on Friday. Saturday we met an old Lt. Governor for the state of Idaho.
Throughout the week we also did lots of service and met one guy that grew up out in the country and then moved to the city. He made this little piece of property into a piece of farmland.
I also want to share something spiritual that I learned through the week and it's about divine potential and uniqueness. I have learned that everyone has their role to play and in helping others out. We have been given differences on purpose so that our weaknesses may be strengthened and our pride humbled. To show this to the zone in zone council we made PB&J sandwiches. We put everyone in an assembly line and told them their unique role, they couldn't do any more or any less. It went very well and showed everyone that they do matter.
That was the week and it has been lots of fun.

Hola a todos, I didn't know what to title this email, therefore fill in the blank with the amount of weeks out or a random number. However you feel.
This week has been a busy week, starting with some temporary exchanges, transfers, service, and lessons.
Tuesday we received a message from our branch president about someone that he would like us to meet. Welk at the time I was on an exchange due to my companion having a farewell dinner with the Mission President before he leaves for Chile. So here I am responding back in the Spanish I know "we would love to help" but in Spanish of course. Then drove over to the church building(I don’t do a lot of city type driving) and met the one President Lopez wanted us to which means we set up a visit as well.
Then we get on to our other days of the week, it was the normal go to lessons and teaching others how to come closer unto Jesus Christ. As well as calling multiple people to set up future appointments. There was one day it was back to back answers appointments everywhere, but unfortunately some have canceled and some have rescheduled. Key word is that they were rescheduled.
That is the highlights of the week and I want to know share about my studies. As I studied the Restoration proclamation (the one given to us by President Nelson) it brought to remembrance simple truths I have been taught, and it connects all points of the gospel so beautifully. I also made this connection with the first three lessons of the go preach my gospel. We have the restoration so we can learn more clearly the plan our loving Heavenly Father has laid out for us. And then we have the Gospel of Jesus Christ so we may know the path we need to take to return to Him. The conference talks from April 1971 had a recurring theme that I had noticed, which was how important it is to stay on the straight and narrow path, that there will be hard times but as we stay with it blessings will come in all aspects of our lives. I also read some Ensign articles that were in the institute manual and it takes about the Philosophy of Korihor and how we can counteract it. And it is as simple as reading the Book or Mormon and following our church leaders, The gospel is true and has stood the test of centuries, but the philosophy of an Anti-Christ is full of errors and contradictions. It is interesting to study deep into the scriptures and the words of the Apostles.
There is the week for y’all, I hope you have been enlightened and are having a great time in the weather!!

Hola a todos,
This week was a good week in finding new people to teach. We had set a goal to find two new people and to accomplish this goal we set out to call old investigators. On Tuesday one of them answered and we got an appointment set up, she had said any time after five and we had some things fall through and shuffle around, so we went a little after five, and no answer at the door. We left a little disappointed and went to get dinner, then once again we said some time made open, so off we went back to her house. This time she was home and answered. I learned a lesson from this one visit to be diligent and keep moving forward. If we do all that we can, we will be guided and blessed. It falls with being 100% responsible. Another example from this week was last night as we continued to call old investigators. We have been calling some of them all week trying to get an answer and set something up, then last night as we tried again with them, answers started to come. It was great to see the little things happen.
We also did lots of little service opportunities to help those around us. It was a lot of cleaning and moving. When we cleaned there was so many chemicals that Covid wouldn't stand a chance. It is always a good day to serve others.
The other cool thing we did this week was I gave the closing prayer in branch conference. I was very nervous but it all came together and was good. I am glad to have been called Spanish speaking and learn more.
That is the week for y’all and have a good week
Love y’all,

Going
off of Zone conference, it was a great day of learning. I learned more about receiving
revelation and the importance of personal study. It was definitely not a
favorite of mine before the mission of reading scriptures, but as the mission
progressed my love for the scriptures grew exponentially. I enjoy taking time
to read the Book of Mormon.
Then the other highlights of the week was all the service we got to do. We painted that Spanish branch's president's laundry room. One thing I am going to be great at after my mission is painting and fence work for sure. Then with the great snow, we were able to build member trust and shovel driveways. It wasn't even that cold being from Northern Colorado.
That is the weeks updates and highlights. I hope y'all stay warm and have a great week
Love,
Elder Cormack

Hola a todos,
I am now in Boise. Two minutes away from the temple. What a great place to be. It is a lot different than Nyssa I would say. But no matter where I go it requires teaching and service.

I am excited for the chance to go to a new area and learn some different things. I am nervous because cities aren't really my favorite thing. Not much has happened this week. We continue to teach others of Christ and change lives in the process.

Hola a todos,
This week was wonderful. We continued teaching lessons and helping others come unto Jesus Christ. We also had a nice calm new years eve. It was like being in Chocope Peru. Not many people were out celebrating and could have a nice sleep. Nana sent several packages and and complete New Year's Even party, so we shared it with the district and had a virtual New Year's party. We did a district video call and played some bean boozled. What an awful game if you get the wrong flavor. Let me tell you, dog food does not leave. You think you have overcome it and then bam it hits ya.
The area is doing great as well. We have the youth in Owyhee inviting friends to an activity next Monday. Once they can enter the church they can feel the spirit and the beauty of the building itself. And we have gotten more referrals from members and scheduling a time to go back. We have also been able to take a priest out and visit some members on the ward list and clean it up to see who still lives in the ward. While we were out visiting we found that some of the members have moved allowing a perfect opportunity to contact them and ask if they are interested in a message of Christ. We were also parked out front of a house while we were doing some tracting. There was a kid sitting at his window who would hide every time we looked over at him and we looked over because he knocked on the window himself.
That was the week. It was great like every week on a mission is. But it was filled with the usual lessons and service we do. Every so often we have something really big and fun. There is also just little things that are funny.
